For the folks that stop by here, they may have noticed that yesterday, we were off the grid. The folks at Word Press decided they were going to shut us down with no explanation. They provided an email if you contested their action so I sent in a few emails yesterday. While I didn’t expect an immediate response, I did expect one THAT day. But it didn’t happen. I didn’t hear back from them until today when they told me that the shutting down of this website was unintentional due to their anti-spam settings on their server catching something on our site which they didn’t like. Most likely, it was the last few posts I put up which were re-blogs from other sites.
So instead of being pissed about it, I decided to go elsewhere. I went to Blogger and created a new home for The Bullshit Fighter.
From now on, any activity from us will be on that page. I may have not invested in any part of Word Press when I used their service but I honestly expected better than this. I get their stance on why they want to be vigilant in keeping certain sites off. But when someone is following the rules and gets busted for it all the while not being able to speak to anybody about it, then I feel it wise to take my business elsewhere. I may not have paid for a domain for example, but even if one person spotting my blog was inspired to start their own and paid money to Word Press for any of their services, than I more than helped them out.
Anyway, I will be keeping this site up open for a while so folks that may not be aware of the change can make the appropriate adjustments. We appreciate every one who has stopped by and taken time out of their day to read our ramblings here. You are all amazing. If you follow us to our new site, you’ll certainly make our love for you grow. We may even ask to go steady!
